Delete Your Account

Applies to the UPI Voice Alert Android app, published by Rock Lee Digital under the brand AppTriq

You can permanently delete your UPI Voice Alert account and all associated data at any time, directly from within the app. This page explains exactly how, and exactly what gets deleted.

How to delete your account

Deletion happens instantly, inside the app — there's no separate web form to fill out.

  1. Open UPI Voice Alert and sign in

if you aren't already signed in with the Google account tied to your merchant profile.

  2. Go to the Settings tab.

Tap the Settings icon in the bottom navigation.

  3. Scroll to the Account section

and tap Delete Account, near the bottom under "Danger Zone."

  4. Confirm deletion.

A dialog explains this permanently deletes your account, your merchant profile, and every payment recorded on this device, and cannot be undone. Tap Delete Forever to proceed.

  5. If asked to sign in again first —

Google requires a recent sign-in before allowing account deletion, as a safeguard against someone else using an unlocked phone to delete your account. If you see this, tap Log Out Now, sign back in with Google, then repeat step 3. Nothing is deleted until the confirmation step actually succeeds.

Can't access the app? If you've lost access to your device or Google account and can't complete these steps yourself, email us at apptriq.support@gmail.com from the email address on your account and we'll process the deletion manually on our end.

What gets deleted

Deletion is immediate and permanent — there is no "soft delete" or recovery window.

DataWhat happens to it
Your login (Firebase Authentication record)Deleted immediately
Merchant profile — email, merchant/shop name, UPI ID, subscription status (Cloud Firestore)Deleted immediately
Team membership you own or belong toDeleted immediately
Transaction history stored on your device (Room database)Wiped from this device immediately, as part of the same deletion
App settings on your device (language, voice, thank-you message, etc.)Reset immediately, as part of the same deletion
Nothing is held back beyond what the law requires. The only thing we may retain past deletion is billing/transaction records Google Play and Indian tax law require developers to keep for accounting purposes — this is standard for any paid app and does not include your merchant profile, UPI ID, or payment notification history.
